Northeast Regional Qualifier 2003 Tournament Report
Held at TotalCon in Mansfield, MA, we had 36 competitors, including
players from Columbus, Atlanta, Ithaca, Montreal, DC, NYC, and
Delaware. The only major calamities were the clock falling off the
wall and dying, and the laptop failure prior to the tournament,
leaving me without current card text and rulings (eep!). Thankfully,
Trey Morita and John McGlynn brought laptops, so we got the Archon
up and running. My watch sufficed for time.

Congratulations to Ben Swainbank for the win! And congratulations
to all the qualifiers!
Ben Swainbank already posted a good report of the finals, plus his
winning decklist, and it's getting late here and I have to catch a
subway home, so I'll skip it. :)
Thanks go to:
Grant Garvin and Todd Richter for their work in putting this event
and the other weekend events together.
TotalCon for once again giving us a place to play.
Chad Brown and White Wolf for the bountiful prize support, and for
continuing to make cards for us!
John McGlynn and Trey Morita for thinking ahead and bringing extra
laptops.
Anyone who helped me out with current card text.
All of the competitors, for once again making this one of the most
diverse, competitive, and fun tournaments you can find.
See you at GenCon!
